cut-off moonlight
glass is the barrier
between two kinds of darkness
inside and out
I clutch this line to you
hear the whispers
feel the seconds pour down
fast and slow.
realizing
whoever said silence
was to be enjoyed
was wrong.

Halten
Nähe
mehr als Luft
tatsächlich atmen
geschlungen
zu kurz und
ewig während
eingebrannt
nicht vergessen
vereint
lächelnd
weinend
teilend
ist das
dein Herz
oder meines

figure ‘s walking through the dark
the moon gives the walls a glint
they belong to a labyrinth
formed by the progress in life
by the every passing second.
from time to time the figure stops
I feel I’m stuck in it’s head
and maybe so are you.
distant voices and their echoes
the cold white light above
and knowing nothing but
you’ll have to get through
makes it oh so hard.
maybe the exit is a lie as they say
and it’s the best deal just to stop
walking and embrace
what melts all the doubts
to follow the voices
into a handy shade.
the moon cries for it’s children
they are lost within
what their life bred but
have we ever considered
that the voices are lying to
that there are no walls
and we can go where we wantbut we are afraid
the walls seem so hard and cold
so we rather stand still
freezing and alone.

neu entscheiden.

dream V

waking up and the world is white
noise tears in disharmony
through the head until
it dissolved
different shades of agony they flow
eyes can’t shut despite the pain
tears dry instantly
cold heat
white shine
pressing persistently
breathing lapses
eyes turn rapidly
everything is white
melting in coldness
alone

another song

alarm clock’s sudden buzz tells
it’s time to rise and put
night’s frown aside
and pick one smile for the day

school bell throws it’s noise
anotehr layer over voices
scratching, tiring, infuriating
why can’t they shut up

every day (every day)
the light tears us apart
at night we meet in dreams
at night we meet in dreams

chores make piles of useless time
soon too precious, now without
value or a spark of sense
how can’t they understand

moments flicker through
the daily bordedom’s mist
wishes shared they ease the pain
the longing and the never ending
(last night)

every day (every day)
the light tears us apart
at night we meet in dreams
at night we meet in dreams

every day (every day)
the light tears us apart
at night we meet in dreams
at night we meet in dreams

scarce words come in
filling holes
inducing both warmth and cold
they carry your feelings
reflect my own
dance around the void
we left for another
just to be filled again
but moments, hours and days
can seem so long
when alobe but never lonely
we just close our eyes
lie down in light or dark
imagining
until we touch
when turning around.

see you all from up here
moving against the rythm
or so you think
chessboard markings on the floor
dripping up to the crowd
cheap thrills give you the feeling
of a dividing line
spirit of difference
I feel indifference
vague repulsion
your shared markings
mark you as blend
you smell of vices
without knowing or caring
what happened to self-cotrol
self-awareness
self-respect
diffused by the noise and the haze
sun hasn’t quite set yet
I walk away
leave you to your life
while I mind my own.
