During the last years I’ve discovered three universal and blabla definitive truths:

1.) religion is like fanta

2.) love is like the communist world revolution

3.) martial arts are like shopping at IKEA

I hope you were enlightened as well.

Am Fenster vorbeigegangen
nicht so wie alle früher
den Blick in Frau Nachtens Kleid
hingegeben dem was hinter den Augen
von ihrer Schwärze gebracht wird.
Kein fernes Land, kein Drang nach Flucht
und die Wände bei weitem nicht fesselnd
nur ganz allein auf beiden Füßen
das scheint genug
mit jedem Herzschlag ist
die Einsamkeit bewusst
und Monde ziehen längst nicht mehr
mit Häme durch den Kalender
das brauchen sie nicht.

memory – two sides

September 11, 2008 at 5:37 pm (poem)

surveying the roofs ahead I cherish the light
moon is wearing all silver today
behind me supressed laughter conjurs
contentment and with all the liquid bliss
what else could there be

when pain pulsates inside
self hate pushes freezing flames
with the liquid changed to gasoline
what else could there be?

cold returning

September 11, 2008 at 5:14 pm (poem)

shrills catching rides from the wind
they give assurance
everything is still the same
although now it’s cold outside

between the bodies is still
space enough to feel lost
everything is still the same
although now it’s cold outside

looking down on the rock and the hard place
the ascending road is still ahead
everything is still the same
although now it’s cold outside

winter is still far away
but it is cold outside.

metaphor

September 10, 2008 at 7:37 pm (poem)

on touch the paper feels
empty as if
the words and ink had
drained away into
the cracks which spawned
them and the paper’s draught seems
to spead out to
my touching hand and into
mind’s fissures that feel so
sealed and what remains is
a real draught the
dry emptiness and waiting
for rain
